On the Eastside Atlanta 2.5-hour tour, see the historic sites and neighborhoods of Atlanta on a relaxed tour that takes an in-depth look at the city’s history and culture. Meet your group near the American Hotel Atlanta Downtown and set off, avoiding the busy sidewalks and congested streets. Go to the Inman Park neighborhood to explore Atlanta's first planned suburb, established back in the 1890’s. Continue to the Martin Luther King National Park, located at his boyhood home on Auburn Avenue. Explore the traditionally African American neighborhood of Old Fourth Ward (O4W), where King grew up. Go to the Historic Oakland Cemetery, one of Atlanta’s largest green spaces. Cruise through Grant Park, Atlanta’s oldest public park, and look out for the renovated mill in the artistic Cabbagetown district. Along the way, your guide will stop to introduce you to some of the city's specialty stores and there may even be the chance for food tastings along the way.
