The evening in Kuah Town begins with a stroll in the “Mini Langkawi” Legenda Park, a beautifully landscaped theme park with figurines and sculptures depicting local folklore and history. Then walk to Eagle Square where a large eagle statue symbolic of Langkawi is located. Visit the nearby night market, locally known as “Pasar Malam”. From there, adjourn to dinner at local seafood restaurant.

Langkawi Legend Park
Langkawi Legend Park is a beautiful landscaped folklore-themed park located beside the Kuah Jetty. This open air 'garden museum' faces the Kuah Waterfront, where you can get a beautiful wide-angle view of the Kuah Harbour with the famous Eagle Square in the background. The 50-hectare compound houses a collection of colourful statues, stone carvings and cultural displays depicting the mythical tales of Langkawi.
The icon of Langkawi, Eagle Square is the home for Langkawi's giant statue of an eagle which according to old folklore where Langkawi get its name from the two Malay words - 'helang' (eagle) and 'kawi' (reddish brown), hence lang-kawi. Perched 12 metres above the star shaped concrete deck overlooking the Kuah Jetty, the eagle is always welcoming icon for every traveller coming into Langkawi. You can get up close to the base of the statue for your holiday photo. Since the square is open to public almost all the times, you can snap all the pictures you want!

Langkawi Night Market
Night market is a street market with collection of stalls that sells fresh produce from local farms like vegetable and in-season local fruits. It has evolved stalls selling clothing, toys, watches and etc. A leisurely stroll at the market will reveal the diversity of the food culture of various ethnic mix of the island. There are Malay, Thai, Chinese, Indian as well as western cuisine on display at a very cheap price.
