Chicago Segway Tour
City Segway Tours is proud to be the first guided Segway tour in the world! Be sure you glide with the original - City Segway Tours!
This glide will focus more on the experience of riding Segways through our beautiful parks and less on the history and quirky facts about the hometown.
With a slightly shorter duration, this tour is perfect for the locals or travellers that way to their hand at riding a Segway but may be constrained by a tighter schedule.
The Field Museum - The Field Museum was founded to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893. The Field is the current home to Sue the famous T. Rex and the Lions of Tsavo as well as an extensive anthropological collection.
Adler Planetarium - The Adler was the first planetarium built in the Western hemisphere and contains astronomical artifacts and instruments dating back to 12th century Persia. Provides one of the best panoramic views of Chicago's fabulous skyline!
Grant Park - This centerpiece of our Segway tour is 319 acres of beautifully manicured green space, gardens and public sculptures. Chicago's "front yard" includes Buckingham Fountain as its central focal point. Grant Park is also home to Butler Field which hosts The Blues Fest, Jazz Fest and Lollapalooza annually.
The Lakefront/Monroe Harbor - Cruise along the edge of Lake Michigan speckled with sailboats, with Navy Pier as its impressive backdrop.
Millennium Park - Just a short walk from our office is Chicago's newest gem, featuring the Pritzker Pavillion, the cascading waters of the Crown Fountain towers and the famous Cloud Gate sculpture affectionately nicknamed "The Bean" by locals and visitors alike.
Shedd Aquarium and Oeanarium - Opened to the public in December 1929, at the time it was the world's largest inland aquarium. One of the first animals to arrive is currently its oldest resident: Grandad, an African Lungfish acquired in 1933.
Soldier Field - Soldier Field is the current home to the Chicago Bears who moved in 1970 from their original home at Wrigley Field. Originally built in 1924 as a dedication to fallen war veterans, Soldier Field underwent a $600 million renovation in 2003 and is now a staple of Chicago's magnificent skyline.
Chicago's World Class Skyline - See the architectural wonders that comprise one of the most beautiful skylines in the world.
