Although he died in this house on his birthday in 1616, his legacy still lives on. Unfortunately, this house was demolished in the 18th century but you can still appreciate his wonderful life in the beautiful gardens with specially commissioned sculptures and a fascinating exhibition about Shakespeare as the playwright, the family man and the businessman of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Hall's Croft: this magnificent 17th century, Jacobean style home belonged to Shakespeare's beloved daughter Susanna and her husband, Dr. John Hall. Here you can explore the beautiful walled gardens, which were home to many medicinal herbs, all of which Dr Hall used in his remedies to cure his patients.
Mary Arden's Farm: this fantastic destination was home to Shakespeare's mother, Mary Arden, when she was a young child. This home was built all the way back in the early 16th century by Mary's father, Robert, and it still remains very much intact. Get a feel for what it was like to live on a family farm with seven sisters and explore this amazing Tudor farmyard!
