National Palace Museum (Northern Branch):

  • Due to the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), opening hours of the National Palace Museum Northern Branch from 14 Feb to 31 March 2020 will be adjusted as follows:
  • Tuesday - Sunday: 0900 - 1700 hours (Closed on Monday)
National Palace Museum (Southern Branch):
  • Tuesday - Friday: 0900 - 1700 hours 
  • National Holiday, Saturday and Sunday: 0900 - 1800 hours 
  • Closed on Mondays 

Shung Ye Musuem of Formosan Aborigines:

  • Tuesday through Sunday from 09:00AM to 17:00PM
  • Closed Every Monday and Chinese New Year Holiday

  • National Palace Museum has free entry dates: New Year’s Day 1st Jan, Lantern Festival, International Museum Day 18th May, World Tourism Day 27th September, National Day 10th October and the Taiwan Culture Day on the 17th of October.
  • The National Palace Museum ticket is suitable for all attendees and valid for entry to the main building of the Northern Branch of National Palace Museum. The ticket will also be valid on the day of redemption for you to visit the Zhishan Garden free-of-charge.
