EG Tour Bus Course B

Explore the wonders of UNESCO Heritage Site Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and be impressed by its majestic structure and the rich history of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910)

Join the tour to visit Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO Heritage Site, built in the late Joseon Dynasty as a symbol of King Jeongjo’s respect and dedication to his father. The fortress wall was built using Seokjae and Jeondol (bricks) and the holes between the bricks are just big enough to fire guns, arrows, or long spears through in case of an attack. Not far apart, visit the traditional market, the most special place where you can feel the Korean life. Experience a variety of foods directly made at the shops that run along the alley. Korean Folk Village is a village from the Joseon period composed of real houses relocated from provinces of the country. It presents the real life from old Joseon life, which includes provincial government office, educational institutions, medical institution, fortune-teller’s place and many more. Performances including farmer’s music, martial art on horseback, traditional wedding ceremony, and other special events are available by season
