Boseong Green Tea Festival is held every May in Boseong Tea Plantation listed on "31 Beautiful Sights on This Incredible Planet" by CNN, USA.

Tea Festival was held at the tea plantation on the hillside of Hwalseongsan Mountain on May 12, 1985 with pride in being the largest tea producer and the cradle of the tea industry in Korea. Since Boseong has held a variety of tea events including the ritual for Tea God to pray for a good harvest of tea, Picking Tea Leaves, Making Tea and Tea Lady Contest, Tea festival was held together with the 12th Boseong Citizens' Day in 1986. It has been elevating itself as the representative tea culture festival in Korea.

Important Notes:

  • We strongly recommend tourists wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

  • Please be punctual when gathering at each destination pit stop. Latecomers will have to arrange for transport back to city and their own expense.

  • In the event that the tour is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, customers will be informed before tour departure, and a full refund will be provided.

  • Booking is required at least 9 calendar days before the tour departure date.

 

About the tour:

  • Fee does not include food and beverages.

  • If participants are late or fail to show up at the stipulated meeting points, no refunds will be entertained.

  • Items not included are personal expenses during the tour (telephone, laundry, beverages etc.)

  • Changi Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damages caused by individual’s negligence.

  • The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion.

  • The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in Singapore dollars.

  • Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket/e-voucher will not be accepted by Changi Recommends and the appointed merchant.

  • Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.

  • Tour prices may vary depending on the season, and the day of the week (weekday/weekend), Changi Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event that changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.


 

Cancellation Policy:

Tour routes are subject to cancellation without prior notice due to weather conditions, and (or) when there is an official request from the authorities. Full refund will be given to customers under these circumstances.

  • Stand right outside the exit. DO NOT walk around looking for the bus as it would be easier for the guides to identify you.
