Spend the day exploring the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund. This Norwegian city is surrounded by water, mountains and fjords and is named as the most beautiful city of the country by some.
Your guide will lead you to around the city and bring you past the Ålesund Port to Breakwater from where you will head to the Art Nouveau district. Listen to your guide as he tells you some history about the city while you make your way to the bunker remainings of WWII. Ålesund was an important strategic defending point in the war and there are many remainings around the city like this one. Next up are the Ålesund lighthouse followed by the local church.
Enjoy a beautiful panoramic view at Aksla viewpoint and travel over water through bridges and underwater using tunnels to Alnes lighthouse. Feel the wind, listen to the waves and smell the salty ocean water. Here you will enjoy a delicious picnic with typical Norwegian sausages. On the way back you will make a stop at another stunning viewpoint to admire the wonderful sceneries of Ålesund.
