Established in 1968, the Southeast Botanical Garden is located in a vast area of about 150,000 square meters in the outskirts of Okinawa. It is one of the few tropical gardens in Japan. Subtropical and tropical plants are collected from all over the world, including palm trees, and presented in nature in the Okinawan environment instead of the greenhouse. The botanical garden is home to about 2,000 tropical plants from Southeast Asia, South America and other plceas. Many mysterious flowers and trees that have never been touched can be seen throughout the year. Take a relaxing stroll through the garden and take in the gorgeous nature that surrounds you. Visit the Southeast Botanical Garden and admire the wonderful natural scenery.
