What You Will Do
Start the experience with pick up from your hotel in South Bali by our guide at approx. 08:30 hrs and drive towards Singapadu village to take a closer look at a Balinese compound with its authentic design and architecture. Continue the road to Ubud passing through Mas with a stop at a wood carvers and mask makers work shop. Strike a conversation with these devoted local artisans before continuing along the road to arrive at the Sacred Monkey Forest as home of long-tailed Macaques, which contains the Pura Dalem Agung Padantegal temple as well as a "Holy Spring" bathing temple and another temple used for cremation ceremonies. Lunch will be served at vegetarian restaurant with a fabulous view over the valley in Ubud.
Next, visit the Pura Saraswati temple with its unique and beautiful architecture. Pura Saraswati was devoted to “Dewi Saraswati” the goddess of learning, literature and the arts. Continue to walk around the Ubud Market, where you can shop for art products at competitive prices; don’t forget to bargain! The day is closed with a visit to Antonio Blanco’s museum for a closer look at this Spanish born painter’s unique works. Transfer back to your hotel afterwards.
