It also allows you visit the famous tea fields of the Dragon Well Tea Village, where you will have the opportunity to pick tea leaves by yourself and make your own tea beverage.
In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel at Hangzhou city centre and take you to Meijiawu Tea Culture Village which is considered the best to return to the nature.
With its idyllic beauty, the tea farmer will take you to the mountain area and you will be impressed by the tea terraces of high and low hill-slops. As a tea fan, you will not only see tea picking and tea processing, but also have a chance to experience as a tea expert, entering a tea plantation, picking the tea leaves, visiting the tea farmer’s house and enjoying the local tea ceremony.
Once you finished, you’ll have a traditional Chinese cuisine lunch at a local restaurant.
After your lunch, we’ll bring you to Hangzhou’s famous West Lake, where you’ll have a short boat ride to the small island located at the center of the lake. The lake is one of China’s most picturesque sites, and has been the source of inspiration for many poems and paintings throughout history.
Your guide will take you to the Linyin Temple, founded in 328 AD by the Indian monk Hui Li, and whose meaning is Temple of Inspired Seclusion. Located in front of the temple is a limestone peak called Feilai Feng, “The Peak that Flew Here”, so called as Hui Li remarked that it looked exactly like one in India and asked when it had flown over to Hangzhou. Between the 10th and 14th centuries, this peak's surfaces were carved with over three hundred Buddhist statues. One of the most famous is the Laughing Buddha, or more correctly known as the Maitreya or the Buddha of the Future.
After your tour, we’ll take you back to your hotel with the rest of the day on your own arrangement.
